Osceola History is a non-profit organization founded in 1949. Our mission is to collect and preserve the county’s cultural and natural history and to provide educational, research, and recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. At the Osceola County Welcome Center & History Museum, guests can explore more than 500 years of history and the area's natural environment. The Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek features 1800s historic structures that give visitors a glimpse at early life in Osceola County.
